Today I reaped the benefits of Tip # 6!
Just over a year ago, 3 of us went for a walk at Noosa National Park before sitting down at Cafe Le Monde (tough, I know), for what turned out a whole afternoon of planning. We were there to discuss how we could help and support one another in our solopreneur businesses. There was no selling, no pushing info, no swapping business cards. This was raw, honest storytelling between 3 people who needed a connection they were missing, working alone from home (or in my case, an office).
One year on, there are 8 of us, members of a very very secret Facebook group. Our little mastermind is by invitation only, and we don’t intend to grow any larger. We meet online for chats, swap and validate business ideas, receive feedback, share info, give support. And today we met face-to-face, as we try to do on a regular basis. We have a lot of fun in the process!
So, if I can encourage you to look for small changes you can make to improve how you run your solo biz, Tip #6 is my favourite. Find your tribe, or create one to suit your needs
